Exchange: AuditionThe wind was glacial. Elaine could feel her nose hair freezing, the cold air burning inside her chest. Swearing miserably, she pulled her coat tighter and hitched up the bulging garbage bag in her hand. Behind her, someone called a cheery goodbye, even as Lorraine screamed at her to ‘close the fucking door, already!’ Elaine obliged, feeling the temperature drop ten degrees as the sickly florescent lights from the kitchen disappeared behind the door.  
 
The baby kicked as she flung the garbage into the dumpster. Elaine patted her stomach gently.

Yaay. It's been a fun few weeks.

Besides not having to go to school or suffer through finals like everyone else, a couple of scripts just arrived at my house and it looks like I might be directing a production of 'A Clockwork Orange' sometime this fall with some of my BFF's. I am WAY beyond excited for that. A lot of us have been really unhappy with the quality of the work that's been coming out of the high school (mostly because our director is a MAJOR creeper and even the teachers make fun of him)so we just got together to brainstorm ideas how we could do something on our own. I'm really excited to start working and I hope things work out in our favor!

Other then that, I got into The Exchange, which was kind of a nice surprise. I feel kind of inferior compared to some of the other writers, but I'm just going to do my best and see how things go.

And I'm actually pretty worried about Annie for this round. XD She's a little bit on edge, and I don't she's going to understand about 78% of anything Nathan says.
